Program Notes

A few weeks ago, a blizzard unexpectedly stunted the arrival of spring. The local university closed for two days and the entire landscape was buried in over a foot of snow. On the first day, I found the frozen landscape’s frigid beauty beckoning me, so I elected to venture out into the elements. I was so moved by the beauty of nature that I felt compelled to express my admiration through music.
